On April 23, 2026, the CT House of Representatives overwhelmingly voted to pass HB 5374, which includes a provision to remove the exclusion of athletic prosthetics from health insurance coverage.
The next steps include review and a vote by the CT Senate, and if passed, it will be forwarded to the Governor for signature.
